The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
