Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one victories have been won on hard courts
A revitalized the Russian player secured his first title for nearly 30 months with success over Corentin Moutet in the tournament final.
The Russian, a former world number one, has experienced a difficult year, managing just one match at the Grand Slams and experiencing a setback at the American major.
His varied form on the tennis tour - and struggles with his service game in specific - resulted in him dropping out of the top ten and eventually parting ways with long-term mentor Gilles Cervara.
Currently collaborating with Thomas Johansson and Rohan Goetzke, he has consistently improved in the recent weeks - peaking in a closely contested competitive victory over challenger Moutet.
This marks the player's first title following the Italian tournament and initial on a hard surface after March of 2023.
Success also means he has achieved 21 championships at twenty-one different events.
"This marks the first occasion I am participating in a tournament with my children at once, so to win a trophy is particularly special," stated tennis professional Medvedev.
"This victory is in honour of my younger daughter her name, because the first title I won when my child my daughter was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his last six title deciders, featuring in the German tournament earlier this year.

But the athlete has implemented adjustments in recent weeks, striving to come to the net and play positively, reinforced by an enhanced serving game.
He came back from a disadvantage in the first set against the challenging opponent, winning 4 of the concluding five points to take the lead.
Both players swapped breaks in the middle set before the Frenchman, striving for his first tour championship, gained dominance to force a third set.
He defended 4 early chances in a tight deciding set before Medvedev won the break to that score to secure the win.
Appropriately, Medvedev clinched victory with a shot at the net area, with Moutet incapable to manage a shot after over two and a half hours.
